Chidge and the boys are joined by Neil Ashton, Daily Mail Football News Correspondent and discuss QPR v Chelsea and the Newspapers view on all things Chelsea.

So much for the battle of Loftus Road. With what seemed like the biggest Police Counter Terrorism operation since 9/11 on Saturday, no sign of any trouble! Even the match its self was a bit of a damp squib, in a tense and tight affair, Chelsea made up for their appalling luck in the league fixture with a penalty that Mark Hughes is still moaning about. Bottom line is that it was a penalty, Mata scored it, and we’re in the next round of a competition that might just be our only chance of a trophy this season.

The biggest winners on the day have to be the Chelsea supporters who were impeccably behaved throughout and got behind the team and JT in particular. The same cannot be said for the QPhahaha fans who couldn’t even sell out for their ‘Cup final’ against the team they count as their biggest rivals and clearly hate!

It’s all kicked off again this weekend – no not the dull goalless draw against the Budgies at Carrow Road, the outbreak of approbation and indignation from Chelsea fans looking for someone to blame for the teams consistently poor performances. But how poor are Chelsea? Should we have a degree of perspective about what’s going on with the team? Should we as supporters blindly and unquestionably back the team and its management; or should we honestly criticize both the players and management for obvious mistakes, flaws and deficiencies?

The sage wisdom of the boys on the Chelsea FanCast believe that all is not lost and the Chels will still finish in the top four, if only because Liverpool and Arsenal are worse than us and Sp*rs will probably spontaneously combust!!

A show tinged with mixed feelings this week as the Chelsea FanCast crew say farewell to Dr Mart before he departs to sunny climes. As well as discussing the win against Sunderland, the boys join the many tributes to Dr Mart and the longest Dear Mart ever!

Back to league business this week, and business was duly taken care of by the Chels at the Bridge against the in-form Sunderland. Not a completely convincing win but a win never the less, and thanks to our rivals all mucking it up comprehensively, we are now 4 points clear of Arsenal in 4^th and 8 points off the top. Oh and a certain Fernando Torres is beginning to look like his old self!! 40/1 to win the Premier League? We might just have some of that!

Ahhh, the magic of the third round of the FA Cup. After a rather turgid first half both on and off the pitch, Chelsea turned things round in the last 10 minutes of the match to dispatch a game Pompey side and run out 4-0 winners. Ray ‘Rambo’ Mears at the top of his game again and Super Frankie Lampard scores his 10^th goal of the season, making him our joint top scorer with Studge. But was this papering over the cracks or are we back on the right road?

The boys are back after the Christmas and New Year fixtures, and thanks to the results, they are not full of Christmas cheer! Thankfully they have a win against Wolves to discuss! All this plus one of the last ‘Dear Mart’s’…ever!

So if you’re a Chelsea supporter, the Christmas fixtures have had about as much cheer as a turd left in your Christmas stocking. Outplaying Spurs but only getting a 1-1 draw; 1-0 up against Wigan before going to sleep and getting a 1-1 draw. Poor against Fulham for another 1-1 draw, and shocking against Villa in losing 3-1. Welcome to the New World order ladies and gents, we’ve got our Chelsea back. That having been said we are unbeaten in 2012 as the Chels actually showed some fight for the battle in gaining a workmanlike 2-1 against Wolves, and remember we lost against them last year, so that’s got to be an improvement!

We discuss all the ins and outs of the win against Wolves as well as a quick look back at the Christmas fixtures, and we also ask what the future holds for Chelsea. All that plus this week’s Match Awards - the ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments.

After an insipid performance in midweek against the loathsome scousers, we bounced back with a good win against Newcastle and in the process leapfrogged them to the dizzy heights of 4^th place in the table. Chidge and the boys are joined by Danny & Kyle who made their first trip to Stamford Bridge courtesy of the Make a Wish Foundation and discuss the win against Wolves and meeting the players!

Back to winning ways on Saturday with a 3-0 win over the not so mighty Wolves. But have we really turned the corner or will be facing more ‘Glorious Unpredictability’ in the weeks to come? Good to see Romeu make an impressive premier league debut, but no Super Frank Lampard? And what was all the nonsense from the MHL about Torres and Drogba? Either way, it looks like Chelsea’s appetite for winning games and scoring goals is back, so amen to that!

And talking of healthy appetites (for Guinness at any rate) we all had a good night in the Imperial with one of the best turn outs we’ve seen in there. We have a good old natter about the ins and outs of the Wolves game as well as awarding the ‘Fannies’ for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments later in the show.

Special guests on the show this week are Danny Bremer-Bennett and Kyle Bergen who made a wish to watch their beloved Chelsea play at Stamford Bridge. Thanks to the Make a Wish Foundation it came true. We talk to the boys about their special trip to the home of football.

Chidge, Dr Mart, ChelTel and the Celery Terrorist are joined by renowned Chelsea author Martin Knight and discuss the Liverpool game and Martin’s books and love of Chelsea.

So an absolutely horrible day at the Bridge on Sunday, nothing worse than being done by the Scousers, in a game that raised far more questions than answers. Did AVB get his team selection and tactics right? Why can’t we defend anymore? Why do we look so toothless up front? Are some of the great players living on past glories and are now past it? Will AVB get the bullet in the Chelsea Christmas party game of Russian roulette? Why do Scousers all have outside toilets??

We have a bash at answering some, if not all of these questions on the show as well as awarding the ‘Fannies’ for Man of the Match, Chant of the Match, Guinness and Celery moments.

Martin Knight, author of the fantastic ‘Hoolifan’; “Naughty Nineties – Football’s coming home”; “Ossie – King of the Bridge” and “The Special Ones – Chelsea by the fans” joins us to talk about his love of Chelsea and his many books, with some cracking stories about Peter Osgood amongst others. He also has several copies of “The Special Ones” (probably the most important book on what it’s all about being a Chelsea supporter ever written) signed by Martin himself, and Chelsea legends Charlie Cooke, Alan Hudson, Tommy Baldwin and Tore Andre Flo.
